There is not much difference between the plot of the 1940 animated version of Pinocchio and the 2022 live-action version. Characters aside from the Fairy in Blue, the live-action version is almost a replica of the animated version...the animated version of the Fairy in Blue is beautiful, gentle and kind, and the live-action version is just...too dark and gritty...
