Tokyo Dark Bug Pandora is a Japanese thriller drama film directed and written by Sato Sakichi, starring Ai Shinozaki, Tetsuya Makita, and Kyosuke Yabe. It was released on April 4, 2015. The film is adapted from the manga sequel Tokyo Dark Bug Pandora by manga artist Honda Yuki, serialized in Young Animal, with the original protagonist changed to a teenage escort.
The film centers on Yui Onizuka (played by Ai Shinozaki), a runaway girl living in an internet cafe. To earn money for living expenses, she is forced into escort work. After her companion is assaulted, she meets the yakuza member Samehada. With his backing, she expands her business operations. Through Yui's perspective, the film portrays the survival conditions of a group swallowed by society's darkness.
